How does the car pool operate?

Several drivers share the use of a pool of cars, which reduces the overall need for car ownership while widening personal choice of vehicle.

The scheme is open to anyone living here and we aim to maintain a ratio of drivers to cars that ensures that a car can generally be available even at short notice.

Members of the scheme operate the pool and manage the vehicles, sharing the administrative work. We use the Teamup app to make car bookings.

There are several EV charging points in our lower car park which are used for charging car pool cars and which can also be used by community members with their own cars.
